Another Monday! Today is the start of Jeremy’s sixth week in Fayetteville. Time has flown and crept by, all at the same time. It is a million times easier than Salt Lake City, but it still isn’t fun. Three more weeks to go, then his Christmas break, and then he will start his clinical in Springfield. Lots to look forward to!
We kicked off this past weekend with dinner at Bair’s with the Allen’s and Huff’s, then headed to a friends for game night! It was great for Jeremy to get to see so many of his friends in one place. We had a blast!
I spent most of my Saturday working. We are remodeling our south side clinic (where my office is) over the next two weeks. I have been painting after work almost everyday, but I painted a lot of the larger areas on Saturday. It’s looking much better than the pastel yellow that used to be on the walls. The color I chose for the clinic is called Flax Seed. It is a Valspar color from Lowe’s. It is the bottom left swatch in the photo below. Also, the color above Flax Seed is to die for – for a home, not clinic. It is called Bistro Chair by Valspar. It’s the perfect brown-gray-green. Love! (the paint is photographing much lighter than it is in person)
Other than those two things, our weekend was fairly uneventful. We spent the evening with Jeremy’s parents on Saturday, went to church Sunday, then went to Bolivar so Jeremy could access a database at school. I hung out with Nick and Sydney while he worked.
I’m already thinking of all of our upcoming holiday plans! Here’s what’s ahead…
- Thanksgiving at my parents
- Thanksgiving at Jeremy’s dad’s in Arkansas
- Sydney’s Missouri bridal shower
- Jeremy’s family Christmas party and gift swap
- And more holiday fun!
